Oh boy....

This is Harrison's whiny face.
What's he whining about?
It could be a number of things, but I believe he was upset that I wouldn't let him chew on the power cord......
or maybe it was that I wouldn't let him climb into the dishwasher.....
no, I think it was because I wouldn't let him lick the vacuum cleaner.
My guess is it could be all of these things AND 2 more pesky teeth.
Always with the teeth!! Ugg

I love sun!

We're back in pants & hoodies today, but this week has been all about shorts.
Here's hoping the sun comes back to visit for the weekend and this grey is short lived.
Happy weekend folks!

Roller Coaster

Wanna hear something gross?
I caught Harrison chewing on something this afternoon.
Wanna know what is was?
My toe nail!
Eeewwww.......
I have to clip my toenails constantly, now that I'm running so much, and I guess one got away.
Leave it to my baby to search it out.
I know it's gross, but it makes me laugh.......and right now I need a good laugh.
This week has been emotionally paralyzing.
I'll give ya the short version.
Found a house, offer, counteroffer, acceptance, fraudulent disclosure, bye bye contract......sad face
Here's the thing......I prayed for this.
I've been praying all week that if this was not the right house, if there was something better, that God would make it very apparent.
He did just that and it was not our doing.
I cried......even though He did exactly what I asked.
Typical.
The disappointment was short lived because I know God is preparing a home for us in His perfect time.

In other news.....
Harrison has a date tomorrow night with his very first babysitter {the kind we actually pay}.

No one like Him

Christianity is not a religion.
Religion is about what you do for God.
Christianity is about Jesus and what he does for us.
It’s totally different, and it’s better because religion always leads to pride or despair.
You try hard.
And if you do good, you’re arrogant; you’re not humble like Jesus.
And if you fail to live up to the expectations, you’re grieved and sad because you’re not good enough for God.
Jesus alone gives us joy and humility, humility knowing that we cannot save ourselves, joy knowing that when he said, “It is finished,” it was.
That’s why we love Jesus so much.
There’s no one like Jesus.
